Andrew Lincoln (Rick Grimes): “It was so surreal, amazing, exciting, terrifying. And that was when no one knew who we were. We were just kind of having our way. This was one of the most important characters in my life, and it was a really exciting experience.”

Norman Reedus (Daryl Dixon): β€œIt has been a real honor to play this role for 11 seasons, and to get to know so many of you. I am sending you so much love, and thank you for being with us on this crazy journey. Honestly, from the bottom of my heart, thank you all so much.”

Melissa McBride (Carol Pelletier): “Without the fans, this would never have happened. It never would have happened. The support you’ve given our show is incredible. I’m thinking about the new fans and I’m thinking about the people I know were there from the start.”

Danny Gurira (Michonne): “I came on season three, so I knew it was already a fan-favorite show. I was walking into the juggernaut very carefully. Because of all this squabbling, I was like, ‘What am I a part of?'” what is happening? It was clear that I was in a whole new world at that moment.
